Our Gym team strives to be the friendliest and most helpful team in the business. They will support you through induction, initial programme training through to advanced programmes, mini gym sessions and classes.

Ben Lambert - Health & Fitness Manager


Hi, I have worked here at Waterlane for nearly 10 years now, staring off as a Fitness Instructor and now as the Health and Fitness Manager for all the gym's with Sentinel Leisure Trust (Waterlane, Broadlands, Bungay, Marina and Phoenix). I am also a personal trainer and class instructor too, so if you would like a session with me leave me a message. I take Spinning classes here at Waterlane Monday 5.30pm,Tuesday 6.30pm and Friday 9.30am, I also do CircuitsTuesday 7.30pm, please come along and give it a go if you haven't already!!

Marcin Jaworski

CZESC/Hello, as you can see I am Marcin. I have 3 years’ experience as Physical Education and Football Coach in Poland, and 5 years’ experience as supply teacher in England. I have a long history in Sport and Fitness as it is something i have been very passionate about due to the fact i was born wearing trainers.  My favourite sport is Football and i also enjoy taking exercise classes. I am always here to help and give advice, so if you need me, do not hesistate to ask.

Info:Paul is a track and field enthusiast, whose greatest achievement is running the Flora London Marathon in 2001 in 3 hours 44 minutes and 54 seconds. Soon to be a Personal Trainer Level 2 Gym Instructor. Affiliated club runner with distances ranging from 5km - Marathon. I specialize in running training and competition racing with over 25 years' experience i can also provide schedules for a more structured training programme. Interests include reading and listening to British rock music.

Info:Em is a former UK Trainer & Presenter for the Les Mills Worldwide Fitness Company, and is highly competent in many different group fitness disciplines. She is also a keen street dancer. I am a fully qualified Nutrition Advisor, Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Coach.I am very enthusiastic and passionate about fitness and nutrition and am here to help & give advice anytime! :-D. Info:As Deputy Health and Fitness Manager, I train in the gym frequently; and spend much of my working week at all 5 sentinel sites; Marina, Waterlane, Bungay, Phoenix and Broadlands. I am passionate about fitness and enjoy training clients whilst seeing them develop technique and performance. Info:I am a Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Exercise Referral Instructor , currenlty training to become a Level 3 PT, so beware! I am fitness crazy and love exercising. I was a national standard swimmer for 10years and trained immensly hard, so i can give u some swim tips to. But now its time for me to help you achieve your goals!!  It will be a pleasure to assist you, and remember to embrace the journey!! You only achieve what  you believe! So book in to spin monday at 9.30, thursday morning at 6.30 & 9.30 and Saturday at 10 so lets get it started!

Info: James is a former 4x WMAC (World Martial Arts Comitte) champion. I have been involved with martial arts/combat and fitness for 17 years. I've competed for Great Britain at the WMAC world martial arts championships where I won 4 gold medals
